Lost Cause Exploration started out in late 2004 after I was able to meet and explore with Fallout-UE at one of our states many asylums. Shortly after creating the site using one of the freewebs templates I decided to learn some basic HTML. At about the same time I became friends with Verizoff(Tom LCE) of We-Explore.net. Verizoff helped me design the first version of the site which by then had turned into a group site. The group at that time consisted of Verizoff and myself. At the same time he created We-Explore.net and our group fell apart really fast. I still continued with the site although I tried to change many things, but nothing seemed to be good enough. So I decided to scrap the site pretty much and just explore for the fun of it, and to take my pictures.

A few months go by of no activity on LCE and then in July of 2005 I met Laurie. We soon became very good friends and started the group up again. This time it seemed like it would be much better. Laurie had already been to a bunch of locations, some of which I had been to before and a bunch that I had yet to see. So we started exploring at least 3 days a week throughout the summer and in August of 2005 we met Jazzdigs. His first MA trip was with us up to Danvers State Hospital, soon after we showed him around Metropolitan State Hospital. It was after the second trip to Metropolitan State Hospital that Laurie and myself both decided that Jazzdigs would be the 3rd member of the group.

We added my good friend Creeden LCE to the group about a week after Jazzdigs. Creeden had been to many places with me before Laurie and I had even met. Plus living right around the corner from each other helps out a lot. Creeden is also one of the contributers to the sites photos. One day in May of 2006 I was talking with Verizoff about how we are always going to places together, so we decided to add him onto the site as Tom LCE.

In the summer of 2006 we started really hanging out with Kalizero who at that time was a member of Skulk. After some differences between Skulk and her, I asked if she would become a member of LCE. Being a good friend and a great explorer i knew she would be welcomed into the group and have a great time with us. So as of July 2006 she is the newest member of the group.

The photos on this site are taken with a wide range of digital and 35mm cameras. Laurie shoots with a Kodak digital and a Canon 35mm, Eric shoots with a Kodak digital and a konica 35mm, I shoot with a Nikon digital as well as Canon and Pentax 35mm's, Tom shoots with a Canon Digital RebelXT, Kalizero shoots with a Sony Cybershot, and Jazzdigs shoots with a Kodak Digital.
